I chose to make my Raspberry Pi into a Security Camera. The way my house is designed, we do not have any windows that allow you to see the driveway. When someone arrives at our home we must open the door to see who it is. I thought it would be neat to have a security camera set up so that I could check it from inside the house.

I would like to say that this project pushed me far outside my comfort zone.  I knew from the start this would test my patience and knowledge of computer technology. I spent many hours trying different things to make it work. The video I used as a guide is in the following link:

Overall, I am impressed that I was able to make it work. There were many nights I thought I may give up without finishing.
