Overview: With this project I wanted to achieve a relatively simple goal that still required a bit of mental work. I wanted to find a way to make the Raspberry Pi communicate Spotify to my bluetooth speaker.

In order to produce this, you’ll need a few simple things. First you’ll need the Raspberry Pi 3 kit obviously, then you’ll want to ensure you have an HDMI if your kit doesn’t contain one, finally you’ll need a mouse and keyboard and possibly something to project the audio if your tv doesn’t want to work. Here is a link that will fully explain all components needed and steps to follow; https://circuitdigest.com/microcontroller-projects/how-to-run-spotify-on-raspberry-pi-using-mopidy-music-server.

Fully Labeled Project Set-up

In conclusion, I loved doing so much of this project. Coding makes you think in different ways that typically you might not explore and that is such a wonderful experience to take on first hand. After completing the project I realized that it is not very ideal as you can’t take it anywhere and it requires an HDMI + power hookup, if your phones dead maybe I could understand it. Nonetheless this project was great and I am very glad I was able to participate in it.
