Introduction
Hello all, and welcome! I will be going through the steps for my Retro Pi project using Raspberry Pi. It certainly has been an experience, but fun! I am a fan of video games so I thought this would be a good fit. I will start off by sharing some of the videos and tutorials that I found helpful in this experience.
Supplies
The supplies that I used for this project included a Raspberry Pi, USB flash dive, Mirco USB, my laptop computer, a separate computer screen and keyboard, and a Playstation 4 controller.
The Project Experience
So far this experience has been an interesting one for me, I am still toying around with what ROM’s or games I would like to try and incorporate into Raspberry Pi. I was able to get some Retro Nintendo Games up and running, but I’m really trying to workout getting DOSbox going and perhaps getting The Elder Scrolls Arena to play.
Conclusion
I was pretty excited for this project. I really initially wanted to do something with Lightshow Pi but unfortunately I couldn’t afford the extra costs for what I wanted to do with it. So I decided to go with another passion of mine, gaming! I have some more things I’d like to try and do with this project and and am still working out some kinks. As this is ongoing I will be adding some more updates as well as any links, resources and photos/videos of my project!
