For my introductory computers course I choose to work on the go pi go project. Which is a robot race car that is powered by a raspberry pi and dexter. It looks rather simple to do but I have found that not to be true.

The materials needed for the project are the following:
• 2 Yellow Wheels.
• 2 Motors.
• 2 Motor Cables.
• GoPiGo3 Board (red)
• 2 Metal Motor Brackets.
• 1 Metal Caster Wheel.
• 2 Large Acrylic Pieces (body and canopy)
• 1 Battery Box.
• Dexter mini wifi dongle
• Distance sensor
• Raspberry pi kit
• One Ethernet cord

Assembling the go pi was rather easy, I used the link below for instructions.

The next step is where it got tricky. I wanted to program my pi, I was unable to do so. When an Ethernet cable is plugged into the pi as well as an Ethernet port the pt is suppose to light up. Lighting up would confirm the internet connection. I have been stuck here for awhile and hopefully a new chip  will fix the problem. My plans to move forward include following the steps in the link below.

Overall I feel the go pi is a fun project, as you basically get to build and program your own robot. I have hit a few set backs but I believe this is partially due to my inexperience with computer hardware.
