Introduction
The purpose of my project is to block ads, tracking, and malware. If you don’t want to sit through a YouTube ad, avoid pop ups, or protect your devices from malware or tracking; then this project is for you.
What’s needed for this project
- Raspberry pi
- Micro SD card
- Micro USB power supply
- Ethernet cord
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- A screen
What needs to be downloaded
First you need to download an operating system to your micro SD card called Raspberry Pi OS.

Conclusion
In conclusion, this is a useful project that could benefit a lot of people. We all have our frustrations towards ads, or want some extra protection while browsing the web, and this is a more affordable way to do it rather than buying a service to do it for you. Some of my recommendations are be patient in the research process because there are many different ways to execute this project, you might take bits and pieces from many tutorials instead of following one step by step, and if there is help available ask a lot of questions.
