When I started this class, I was nervous. I did not speak the language of the digital age. When the professor put out that we had to do a project I was even more nervous. As I began to look through the list of projects that I could choose from, the RetroPie caught my eye. I enjoyed playing the old school counsels as I am a bit older. I grew up on the Nintendo. It was an easy choice for me. I wanted to build a gaming system that I could play and that my sons could play.

When I started out, I struggled. I was following instructions but my computer did not want to play along. I realized that you have to use chrome for the process to work without a problem. It took me about two weeks to get the program to run at the speed that I was comfortable with. I was able to get my system to where it is today which is over a thousand games and a streaming app to watch movies.
