The purpose of this project was to use this little mini computer that folks call a “RaspberryPi.” IN this project we were given a variety of different platforms we could morph this Pi into, as myself being big into gaming as a kid tried to achieve the RetroPie project. To do this I ordered the RetroPie kit off the amazon app. In this kit it came with a raspberryPi 3, a case for the Pi, two controllers, an SD card, and instructions. On my own I had to purchase the flash drive that my Roms were stored on. I was given a Mouse and Keyboard by my teacher so I could activate the RasberrryPi without having to configure the controller.This link here leads to the video that I used to intuitionally set up my RetroPie, https://youtu.be/E1sbnPZ_A8w. My project intentions at first were to download all the netinedo 64 games that I used to enjoy growing up to play whenever, but however, the 64 games all tend to be laggy and unsmooth. I have decided to download other games that I have enjoyed so that the eighty dollars that I had spent didn’t go to waste. shocking this system runs a lot smoother than I had ever anticipated. I enjoy spending time playing this and reminiscing on the old days. I suggest many people to try and attempt this project if they had an interest or curiosity on the subject of a RetroPie. I throughly enjoyed the experience and hope others had the same experience that I may have had.
