My goal for the Raspberry Pi project for this semester was to create a home theatre device that I could hook up to my projector. I had a lot of fun programming my pi and also had a lot of frustration at the same time.
For this project I needed :
- A Raspberry Pi 3 B+
- USB keyboard & mouse
- projector
- speaker system
- HDMI cable
- Power source for Pi
To program my Pi I used the pre-programmed KODI feature. With that feature downloaded all I had to do was download applications and code them to play streaming apps like HBO Max, Paramount+, Disney+, and Hulu.
The following links are tutorials and walkthroughs that I used to help make my final project:

The following picture is one I had taken after figuring out how to program and download a coded app to stream movies.
I have figured out how to get a movie playing on my Pi but have chose not to include a video because it is not playing back when I insert it.
This project has helped me grow educationally and mentally. I have never experienced so much confusion and frustration with a class since my AP Calculus course senior year of high school in 2019. Making a Raspberry Pi into a device for everyday use or even a mini computer I highly recommend because it is satisfying to say to friends and family that you made something you can use everyday.
