So for this project I decided to do the Volumio. The point of it is to be able to play music over the cloud on a separate device. I chose this project for my Raspberry Pi so that I can continue to use it after the semester is finished.

Now what I am going to talk about is one of my favorite parts of this project. It took virtually nothing but the device itself and a set of speakers to make. I bought a kit so that I could keep it after the semester ended, and the kit included everything needed. It came with the SD card, and a copy of NOOBS software. We found a tutorial online that we used https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M12ubFWD_Yk. It was fairly self explanatory so we just used the video as a fall back if something messed up.

Summed up, the only thing our project does is act as a virtual Jukebox connected to every music platform imaginable, and it has a physical speaker that anyone can connect to on the wifi.

I loved the simplicity and the real world usage of this device. It was very simple to make and I loved the final product.
