The project I chose to make is a Raspberry Pi soundboard. The purpose of this project is to create a device that can play sounds with a press of a button. My project contains 4 buttons that each make a separate noise. It is a pretty simple concept to make. The hardest issue was choosing which noises and how to download them to the device.
To create this project I used:
- A Raspberry Pi
- A Breadboard
- 4 Buttons
- 5 Male to Female Jumper Leads
- 4 Male to Male Jumper Leads
- A Speaker
My device plays a different sound from each of the buttons.
I am glad I chose to make the soundboard. The device has been fun to make and I learned a lot while assembling it. I only chose to go with four sounds to make sure everything was assembled correctly but if I were ever to explore a device like this again I would like to see what else I could make with it.
